Responsibilities
- Collaborate with clients to develop landscape design concepts and proposals.
- Conduct site visits and assessments to gather relevant information and understand project constraints.
- Create detailed landscape drawings, including plans, sections, and elevations.
- Specify appropriate plant selections and materials for each project.
- Oversee the implementation of landscape designs, providing guidance and support to contractors and maintenance teams.
- Monitor project progress and ensure that timelines and budgets are adhered to.
- Continually stay up to date with industry trends and developments, incorporating innovative ideas into designs.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Landscape Architecture or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Landscape Designer, with a strong portfolio showcasing your design skills.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, and other industry-standard design software.
- Excellent knowledge of plant materials, horticultural practices, and landscape construction techniques.
- Strong understanding of environmental sustainability principles and their application to landscape design.
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to project sites as required.
